Free to play, no purchase needed. One spin per email address. Every spin wins a Viva La Dough gift card or a treat, while the 850 prizes last. Open to New Jersey residents who are 18 or older. Prizes are good at our Lakewood shop only. Spinning puts you on our mailing list.
Who runs it
The Viva La Dough first-birthday prize wheel (the "wheel") is run by Viva La Dough LLC, 1700 Madison Ave, Lakewood, NJ 08701 ("we" or "us"). No other company sponsors, endorses or runs it, including the services it uses (Google, Square and Cloudflare).
Who can play
- Legal residents of New Jersey who are 18 or older when they spin. You confirm both by ticking the box next to the Spin button, and the wheel won't spin without it.
- Not our employees, or their immediate family (spouse, parents, children, brothers and sisters) or anyone living in their household.
- Void outside New Jersey, and wherever the law doesn't allow it.
When
The wheel opens at 12 a.m. on Sunday, November 1, 2026 and closes at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, November 30, 2026, Eastern Time, or sooner if every prize has been won. The wheel's own clock decides whether a spin was in time.
How to play
- Go to vivaladough.com/spin, enter your email address, tick the box to confirm you can play, and spin.
- No purchase or payment of any kind is needed, and buying something doesn't improve your chances.
- One spin per email address for as long as the wheel is open. Addresses that differ only in capital letters, a "+" tag, or the dots in a Gmail address count as the same address.
- Use an address you can receive email at: that's where your prize goes.
- Spins made with bots, scripts or other automated tools, or by tampering with the wheel in any way, are void.
Prizes and odds
Every prize is a Viva La Dough gift card. A treat prize is a card loaded with the value in the table below. The 4 free pastries prize covers four pastries at their regular price ($5.95 each). The 2 free mousse cakes prize covers two mousse cakes at their regular price ($7.95 each).
| Prize | Gift card | How many | Odds, first spin |
|---|---|---|---|
| Breakfast or lunch for 2 | $40 | 25 | 1 in 34 |
| $30 gift card | $30 | 50 | 1 in 17 |
| 4 free pastries | $23.80 | 200 | 1 in 4 |
| $20 gift card | $20 | 75 | 1 in 11 |
| 2 free mousse cakes | $15.90 | 200 | 1 in 4 |
| $15 gift card | $15 | 100 | 1 in 9 |
| $10 gift card | $10 | 200 | 1 in 4 |
| All prizes | $15,440 | 850 | 1 in 1 |
The total approximate retail value of all prizes is $15,440. Every spin wins while prizes are left. The prize is picked at random from the prizes still unclaimed when you spin, so the odds of a particular prize are how many of it are left divided by how many prizes of any kind are left. The table shows them for the very first spin.
Getting your prize
- The wheel's server picks your prize the moment you spin, and the wheel shows it.
- We email it to the address you entered, with the gift card's number and a barcode. Show the email at the register at our Lakewood shop (1700 Madison Ave, Lakewood, NJ) and the staff scan the barcode or type in the number.
- Wheel prizes are good only at our Lakewood shop. Our New York shops can't accept them.
- If it doesn't arrive, check your spam folder, then contact us and we'll resend it. We can't be responsible for an email lost to a mistyped address or a full inbox.
Prize conditions
- Use your prize within 30 days of your spin. After that, whatever is left on the card may be cleared.
- Up to then, the card can be spent on anything at our Lakewood shop; what you don't spend stays on the card.
- Prizes can't be exchanged for cash (unless the law requires it) or swapped for a different prize.
- Anyone with the card's number can spend it, so look after the email as you would cash. We can't replace a card someone else has spent.
- If a prize can't be provided, we may substitute one of equal or greater value.
- Any taxes on a prize are the winner's to pay.
Our mailing list
Spinning adds your email address to the Viva La Dough mailing list, which we run on Square, for news and offers. The wheel says so next to the Spin button. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never affects a prize you've won.
The general bits
- We may disqualify anyone who breaks these rules or tampers with the wheel, and void their prize.
- If a bug, an attack or anything else outside our control stops the wheel working fairly, we may pause, change or end it, and award prizes only from spins made before the problem.
- By playing, you agree that we and the services the wheel uses aren't liable for any loss or injury arising from the wheel or a prize, as far as the law allows.
- These rules are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. If any part can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
- Our decisions on anything to do with the wheel are final.
Your information
We use your email address to run the wheel, send your prize and send our emails. Our privacy policy says what we keep, who else sees it and for how long.
