Our story · Avenue M, Brooklyn

Rooted in craftsmanship, creativity and care.

Viva La Dough is a French-inspired bakery and café that started on Avenue M and grew, quickly, into five shops.

We're a kosher dairy, Cholov Yisroel establishment under kosher supervision, and we welcome everyone, whether you keep kosher or simply appreciate beautifully made food.

Experience Paris with one bite.

What we believe

Great baking takes time, intention, and attention to detail.

Craft

From scratch, every day

Classic French technique: laminated doughs, overnight proofs, hand-glazed finishes. Flaky croissants and brioche donuts come out of the same ovens as the challah.

Creativity

Thoughtful twists

The first croissant pizza in New York and the first kosher versions of the viral fruit-shaped mousse cakes. Tradition on one side, a little mischief on the other.

Care

Kosher, and open to all

Cholov Yisroel and Yoshon, with every shop under its own kosher supervision. A warm, inviting space where people can gather, enjoy, and feel taken care of.

Every visit feels like a celebration. The staff, the sweets, the smells. Perfection.

Anika R.

The sourdough is next-level. Crusty, chewy, and full of character. I'm hooked.

We're hiring bakers, baristas and front-of-house, in all five shops.

As a growing business we're learning every day and looking for people who love beautifully made food.
